Slim-fit pants IN/OUT Wide leg pants

 Move over hammer pants, and make room for the more sophisticated and sleek looking slim fit pants. Thats right, the crazy wide legged pants trend is officially over! No more tripping over your pants while trying to walk! And anyone who's not super tall dosen't have to have their pants dragging on the ground and look 3x shorter than they actually are! The slim fit pants trend is something pretty much everyone can take part in, witch is kind of rare for fashion. So throw out your wide legged pants, burn them, cut them up, I don't care how just get rid of them, and go get some cute slim fit pants!

Fur Bags IN/OUT Doctor Bags

 It seems the fur trend from last year has yet to completely die out. The fur trend has come back in bag form, and extinguished the doctor bag trend. the doctors bag had its run, but now its over. I don't really have much to say about them, but they were fun while they lasted.  Fur bags are going to be every where this fall/winter season! I would suggest getting one quickly because they won't be in stores for long.

Have a White After Labor Day!

It's labor day! Being labor day, some of you might be getting ready to box up all of your white shoes and clothes tomorrow. But, while the strappy shoes may need to go, you can keep all of your white clothes out! This Fall/Winter fashion season is full of winter whites! White has been spotted on runways every where! From Derek Lam to J.Crew, white is taking the fashion world by storm these chilly seasons! So don't be afraid to incorporate some white in to you Fall/Winter look!

Girly Cardigans IN/OUT Hoodies

 While "skater girl swag" is going out, "prep school princess" is coming in. So luckily all of us that weren't to crazy about the whole skater girl thing, can now be relived from the whole sloppy lazy look. I especially love all the cute cardigans that come with the cute preppy look! Unfortunately cardigans aren't always super warm, so I wouldn't throw away all my hoodies just yet. But at least get rid of the ones that make you look like a walking bill board, especially your Aeropostale ones. I mean, I like some of their clothing, and their hoodies are super comfy, but I feel like I'm paying them to advertise for them! It would be different if they payed me, but that's just my opinion (and it's not like I don't own a few any ways so). But keep your hoodies for around the house, and your cardigans for out & about!

Plaid skirt IN/OUT cargo pants

 The classic plaid skirt has gone from drab uniform, to fab must have! I've always loved preppy style, and right now it is in! There are so many different styles, but I prefer one that is about 3" above my knee, so I'm not scanty, but not dressed like a grandma (I would say my grandma, but she's pretty stylish). The cargo pants are 100% out, they're one of those trends that go in and out, but it's kind of hard to tell, so I will make sure I keep everyone updated on them.

Silky blouses IN/OUT statement tees

  I don't know about you, but I love silky blouses! They're so comfortable, they never wrinkle, and right now they're in! If you only have one nice top, I would suggest having a silky blouse. There is no better type of top. The statement tee is in and out all the time, but right now it's out. They may be comfortable, but so is the silky blouse, and it's way cuter! The silky blouse works with jeans, or a cute pencil skirt, and really, it makes a way better statement than the statement tee ever could.

colored skinnies IN/OUT ripped jeans

Colored skinnies have really had a huge impact lately! EVERYONE owns a pair, (or at least should) and their so cute! Colored skinnies are like the new silly bands(which, by the way, are out). Meanwhile, ripped jeans are out. They look so sloppy, and I never really liked them any ways, but they had their time and now their done. They pretty much went out with Miley Cyrus, who initially made them popular (I never really liked her either). So stock up on colored skinnies, and throw out your old messy looking jeans.

So, everyone has seen those hideous  DC skate shoes that make your feet 10 sizes to big, right? Well, they are finally going out of style (yippie!). The whole "swag" thing is finally over (even Seventeen has taken the hint) and we can all go back to our cute and stylish ballet flats! Really DC's were out a year and a half ago, but I felt the need to post this because some people have not yet caught on.

 My Name is Marie, and I love fashion! I assume you do to, or you probably wouldn't be reading this. My goal is to make fashion a whole lot easier for a whole lot of people. It's so hard to tell what is in and what is out right now, with so many different trends out there, and even if you can figure out what's in, there's no way to find out whats out because no one ever really says it. Well, at least not until your wearing the thing and some nasty girl has to point it out (pun intended).
